A Very Nice Weekend

More thoughts later, but that was one hell of a win yesterday and congrats, Eddie. Please chime in with your thoughts. Have a good Super Bowl Sunday.

I have to say, the Florida game was total domination. And totally unexpected. This sort of intensity, effort, toughness, where has this been for three years? You got to hand it to Pelphrey, he has them playing tough. Okay, we’ve been at home, but we have just beaten the 25th and 20th ranked teams in four days, and the closest either of them came was 19. Florida didn’t hit a three until they were down 30. Weems was a dagger; Beverley everywhere doing everything. Hill owned the first half, Townes the second. Ervin played like he should always play.

One more huge one in this home stand, against the dad-blamed Rebels. Win that, and we have a little breathing room when we head to Knoxville.

I’m thrilled. But my fingers stay crossed.

Was the crowd good? It seemed loud on TV but not Nolan Era intense. Still, we should have one hell of a rocking joint for the Ole Miss game next Saturday. Keep it up, Hogs.
