Bad Boys, Bad Boys

Police Car

OK, this is getting embarrassing.

You've surely heard the word by now, but Razorback defensive lineman Ernest Mitchell is facing drugs and weapons charges in St. Francis County, making him the sixth(!) Hog footballer to have a run-in with Johnny Law this offseason.

Mitchell is due in court tomorrow, and Petrino says he will make a decision on Mitchell's punishment afterwards.

Ho-hum. Just another day in Razorbackland.

If this keeps up, the new uniforms are going to have “Washington County Jail” on the back of them, not “Arkansas” on the front of them. Geez.

I wonder how Nutt kept all of his thugs out of the news?

Nothing happening here that isn’t happening elsewhere. Anyone checked out what’s happening at ’Bama?

I would like to point out to Gonzo that we’ve only had about 3 real arrests, (the mugger, the crack dealer and some walk-on passed out in a parking garage). The other was tossed out of court. But still, quality over quantity I always say.

I’d like to see the same pressure applied to Richt and the other coaches who have been there much longer, but such is life for Alabama fans.
