In Your Face, Saban!!!
No lead is safe against the mighty Razorbacks!!! Score on us at your own peril!!!
Seriously though, let's all savor this win...at the rate things are going, it looks like it could be the last one for a very, very long time (sometime in 2009, maybe?).
What do you guys think? Your comments, insights and observations are much appreciated...the floor is all yours.

Dudes. Just got back from the game. Three things stick out to me as being our most pressing problems:
(1) Dropped passes.
(2) Getting burned on defense for big plays. ULM didn’t do much except for a few big plays. Also, I don’t think we have a sack or forced a turnover yet.
(3) Our special teams. I thought it couldn’t get any worse than under Shibest but right now we can’t (a) make field goals, (b) punt, © kick the ball to the endzone on kick offs, and (d) tackle on kick offs. It is AWFUL.
Everything was going quasi-o.k. until Tejada, after missing a long field goal and a short one he should have made, missed the extra point on our first touchdown (Petrino absolutely dog-cussed him and yanked him). For some odd reason, the miss seemed to knock us completely out of rhythm. Dumb mistakes like a blocked punt, too many men on the field penalties, and blown cornerback assignments really put us in a hole. But give the boys credit, they finally came around – though the defense still almost gave it away at the end.
I’m thinking 4-8. We are not good at all right now.

I will say this. I don’t live in little rock anymore, but growing up I use to love to go to War Memorial and cheer on the hogs. I follow the hogs closely and went to games in up in Fayetteville even though I went to school in memphis. However, this is the first game I have taken my wife to and I can honestly say this will be the last. We have been to games all over the SEC (Ole Miss, Miss st., Georgia) and I have never been as embarassed as I was Saturday night. I saw more razorback fans getting in fights with fellow razorback fans and the police having to break them up. I even saw one little kid get kicked in the head because his dad and a guy a row up started arguing and then started throwing fists. My wife asked if it was like this all the time and I said no, but she’ll never go back to War Memorial again. I love the hogs, but I no longer look at the fans through rose colored glasses. I always hated Tennessee and Alabama due to their fans. I know see that we have some of the most obnoxious rednecks you’ll find in the SEC. At least in Neyland, I showed up in my Razorback red and took some friendly jabs, but nothing like I saw our fans do in Little Rock saturday night.
I know most of you don’t care, but I have been a staunch hog fan for 30 years, and seeing how our fans behave in LR make me question why I am a fan. I have been to fayetteville numerous times and never do I see what I saw in LR saturday. Hell, I might as well be an Arkansas St. Indian (sorry, Redwolves) fan. At least their fans might show some class.

Hog Fan in Memphis, I saw a fight at the game as well and found it just as disturbing. It was several sections removed from where I was at, but just as embarassing to witness. I suppose tight quarters, stress, losing, and mass consumption of alcohol before the game can produce bad results no matter what colors the fans are wearing. I tend to think of Arkansas fans as above fighting amongst themselves, but in reality that is seeing things through a pair of rose colored glasses. Hog fans are sadly human too in this regard. But still, I hope you can view nasty episodes like what you saw as more the rarity than the norm and make it back to future games. I think the Hogs are going to need all the support they can get this season. And in future seasons, I think they are going to be more fun to watch than they have been in a long time.
