Very apropos picture there, guys. A friend of mine who lives in Louisana (northern part) was able to get the game on the radio from an Arkansas station. He would call me whenever the Hogs were about to score, and then we listened to the last heart crushing moments of it together on the phone. We were both bummed, to say the least, but felt better that at least we didn’t suffer it alone. haha. We went into guy therapy mode right after and talked ourselves into thinking postively about the Hogs bouncing back and beating Colonel Nutt come next Saturday. However, I am not for sure how much either of us believes it. Ole Miss kept themselves in the Alabama game until the end. Maybe this being such a big game coming up the Hogs will be able to better shift their attention from the one that got away to the one that is in front of them, the only one they can do something about. I see where the night still follows the day – big special teams meltdown and turnovers. Geez.

 Speaking of turnovers, is Bobby Petrino terrified of letting Casey Dick throw the ball into the endzone? Our redzone offense, especially near the goal line, seems just pitiful. We are really missing having a big back for that type of situation, someone who can just plow through.

Well, that’s a positive! haha. My friend was under the impression that the first touchdown by Kentucky came from a blown kickoff that went the distance. His radio reception was going on and off, and he had to stand in a certain part of his living room to keep the connection, haha. So we blew a 70 plus yard pass play? Uggh. Double uggh, Casey Dick was 11-29 and has had 8 interceptions to 1 TD in the last few games. My friend and I are both academic advisors, and we talked about how we hoped Casey Dick was doing well in his classes, for he sure as hell doesn’t have a future in playing football after these last few games are played!

I know y’all beat the rush and threw Casey under the bus a couple of weeks ago. Not the best prognosticaion in football but, someone had to do it. No redzone offense, no goal line offense. It is hard to feed the studs with only one stud and a junior high QB.

You gotta protect the most precious you thing you have, the football.
