A Very Dark Nutt in Fayetteville

Just when you thought the Hogs had run out of new ways to break your heart in a close game, they top themselves once again. You have to give them points for creative ways to lose, at least.

Other than that, bleah. No further comment.

(The only tiny bright spot is that the loss gives us the excuse to run this truly excellent bit of Photoshoppery, which seems to have been created by the user 'Big Red Balls' on this thread on woopig.net. Kudos for the very nice work.)

A terrible call indeed. But the Hogs have to keep from putting themselves in situations like that. Like the night following the day, we saw a Casey Dick interception and another bad play, the missed field goal, on special teams, along with struggling in the redzone. We see these things EVERY FREAKIN week, and until they change, we will likely find ourselves searching for miracles at the end of games instead of having a dominant lead that no bad call can take away from us.
