Into the Time Machine We Go ...
With the season opener slated for Friday, Razorback basketball has been on our mind a lot these last few days. A search for hoop clips on YouTube turned up this footage from the final minute one of the greatest Hog games of all time: the 1995 Super Bowl Sunday contest against Kentucky in Bud Walton Arena. John and I had the pleasure of being there. An unforgettable afternoon. An unforgettable team. Enjoy.

A win over Kentucky sure would be nice this year, especially considering how the football game against them ended. I hope we didn’t lose any mojo by taking the old sloppering hog off the court. You see how better we are (sarcasm alert) with the new uniforms! Thanks, Stephen, for the feel good post.

Golly. I started cheering all over again. Did you see the defense we played against Kentucky when they went into their halfcourt set? Did you see the great decisions on where to move the ball when we were in our halfcourt set? Did you see Scotty hit that like there was ice in his veins.
My.
Once and future days. I hope.

J. Hawg, I totally agree…that team was magnificent. So much fun to watch.
Like Stephen said, we drove over from Memphis to watch this game in Bud Walton. It was an unforgettable experience…I’ll have to share my memories in a full blog post one of these days.
