I've Got a Fever ...
and the only prescription is Scott Hastings on cowbell.
Via the wonders of YouTube, I recently stumbled upon the clip below of the former Razorback basketball star in a contest with a spirited young lass to see who could provide better cowbell accompaniment to Blue Oyster Cult's "(Don't Fear) the Reaper." (If all of this, including this post's headline, is coming way out of left field, view this classic "Saturday Night Live" skit for context.)
The setting is The Reef in Boulder, Colo. Date unknown, although the clip was uploaded in May 2007. If you ask me, Hastings was robbed. (Clip courtesy of FeivelJay770)

Yes, Scott got jobbed. He should have taken a charge (i.e. “flopped”) when she was playing.
That SNL skit is a classic. It reminds me of the Graham Nash interview where he said he knew he was doing too many drugs when while listening to the studio tapes for his first solo album he exclaimed, “Wow! Listen to that cowbell!”

Her name was “Bubbles”? No way Scott was robbed. Sorry, there is just no way a Sutton-era white guy is ever gonna show any rhythm. Bubbles was rockin’ that cowbell, dude.
