Official Razorback Bowl-Watching Simulation Kit

Since the Hogs aren't playing in today's Cotton Bowl (or any other bowl game this year), we thought it would be helpful to provide some instructions on how to authentically simulate the experience of watching the Razorbacks go bowling. This way you'll be able to experience the joy and pageantry of an Arkansas bowl game without having to, you know, watch one.

It's really quite easy:

1. Turn on TV, sit on couch.

2. Make yourself comfortable with the food and beverage of your choice.

3. Hit yourself in the forehead with a hammer 2-3 times.

Repeat if necessary.

(Note: if the Petrino era goes the way we think it will, we won't be able to make these *hilarious* jokes about Arkansas losing bowl games for too much longer, so let's all savor them while we can.)

I am sad that we did not go to a bowl this year. On the other hand, the money that I saved by not making a trip this year is helping out nicely.

Here is hoping for more SEC victories.

Only two or three times? ;^) Made me laugh out loud! Right there with you on hoping there are much better days ahead.

Well, Beave, I’m not a Nutt Hugger but someone prepared those kids and someone coached ‘em during the game…am I the only one creeped out by the similarities between Nutt’s early career at Arkansas and what’s going on at ol miss?

I’m right there with you, Hawgfan.

We had an even more exsperienced team in ’98 than the Rebels do this year.
We lost a few Srs. the following year, but were still a good team with the Jrs. we had coming back, and won a pretty impressive victory over Texas in the Cotton Bowl. (Cobbs Fresh. year)

I’m not too sure what happened after that. The recruiting was supposed to really pick up after that, according to Nutt, but somehow lost it’s steam.

I tried to pretend that the Arkansas / OU game was this year’s bowl game, haha. And what terrific results! John, I hope too that the Petrino era gets us to a dozen bowl wins (hanging on eleven) and beyond. I would love to see us catch that BC magic and go on an eight win run in bowl games, but I would settle for four in a row! Something, that, gasp, Kentucky is on the verge of if they win one next season.
