Not Thanking God for Mississippi Tonight
Wow - that was ugly. Ugly. For those who didn't attend or listen to the game, don't be deceived by the margin of the Rebels' victory. The Hogs' rally came way too late for Ole Miss to be in trouble. Courtney had a good game, and Jason Henry showed some signs of life in the second half, but other than that - blah.
Seriously, what is it about Tad Smith Coliseum that seems to always bring out the worst in the Hogs?
In the future, perhaps the Razorbacks should just go ahead and forfeit their game in Oxford at the start of the season. We all know they would lose the game anyway, and this way the players aren't exposed to unnecessary injury risk and the program gets to reduce its carbon footprint by reducing travel.
Sounds like a win-lose proposition to us ... or lose-win .... or something like that. Whatever. It's been a long night.
Oh - and before we go - you may need to check this out.

O-kaaaaaay. So far, I have been too down on this team (they then beat OU and Texas) and too high on this team (they promptly lost to the entire state of Mississippi).
I suppose I should sit back and conserve a little mojo. They got some serious growing up to do, and we can do nothing but let them.
Can’t wait to play Florida, huh?

This losing to Mississippi schools is getting old fast! Maybe we should invade it like Tommy Robinson once suggested? haha. And now comes Florida. Okay, 0-3 here we come! But, just maybe, this is a team lives off big name schools. Oklahoma, Texas, FLORIDA? I am grasping, I know.

+1 to Kevin for the Tommy Robinson reference! I can’t believe we’ve been doing this blog for a year and a half and this is the first time his name has come up.

Well, I guess they’re the young, rebuilding team that everyone thought they were at the beginning of the season. I think the good news is if they finish the conference 9-7, the wins against OU and UT make it a lot harder to burst our bubble. On the other hand, maybe the rest of the team will start matching Fortson’s intensity.

Robert “Say” McIntosh – John, do you I win a first reference prize for that name too? haha. Would it suprise you to know that he has his own wikipedia article? If you remember him, then it wouldn’t surprise you! haha.
