SEC Basketball Power Poll: Week 3

This post is not for the faint of heart: it's Power Poll time and the Hogs have continued to slide, now sitting at #11 on our ballot after being #8 last week and - gulp - #2 the week before. We're still fairly optimistic about the rest of the season (call us crazy, but we think they still have a decent shot at making the NCAAs), but at this point it's hard to argue that they deserve to be ranked ahead any of the teams who've actually won a game.

And on that cheery note, on to our ballot (be sure to check out the overall results over at the Ghost of Chucky...our fellow bloggers were a little kinder to the Hogs than we were):

1. Kentucky
2. Tennessee
3. Florida
4. LSU
5. South Carolina
6. Mississippi State
7. Vanderbilt
8. Alabama
9. Auburn
10. Ole Miss
11. Arkansas
12. Georgia

Scary, but I wouldn’t change a thing in your poll. (Cue theme music from “Twilight Zone” . . .)

Okay, I’ll say it. You’re crazy. If this pile of horse dung called the Razorbacks goes to the flippin NIT it will be a miracle. I am watching them just give up and quit. They don’t care. Put them last; dead last.
