Best Mug Shot Ever?

How he'll do on the field remains to be seen, of course, but presumed-future-Arkansas-star-QB Ryan Mallett has already turned in one of the best athlete mug shots ever. (Oh, by the way, in case you hadn't heard he was arrested on Sunday morning.)

We're going to refrain from engaging in any substantive discussion on this matter (our guess is that he probably wasn't the only drunk college kid in Fayetteville that night), so let's instead skip straight to this downright awesome picture. Enjoy:

You know, he sorta does look like a short haired Matt Jones!

I like the Matt Jones comparison. One like’s coke, the other likes Bud. "Great taste!….Less filling!

I suspect Bobby Petrino knows the difference between a teenage drunk and a star QB and what to do about both.

I know, to be 18 and in college is to be a weekend drunk, nothing new or special there. But, to be the face, voice, emotional leader of an SEC contender may require a bit more. Bobby will make the choice clear.

I suspect Tyler Wilson and Jim Youngblood just gave up drinking to spend Saturday night in the weight room. The door has just been left open a crack.

We know how many terrific, exciting, meaningless games that Matt won and how many important games he lost. He would have played wide reciever for Bobby.

My nephew was a Freshman the year we won the NC in basketball. He was practically an alcaholic, and wasted the entire year. Partying was the norm, especially that year.
That was a good learning year for my nephew too though.
He re-enroled after a couple of years, stayed with it, got his engineering degree, and now works for the highway dept. in Fayetteville.
He rarely even drinks now.

Only thing that could have been better is if Mallet’s mugshot actually looked like this: http://muggn.com/c/1436

I still like to pretend it did.
