SEC Power Poll: Week 6
Things are starting to shake up a bit in the Power Poll this week. The Hogs continue their rise, and Georgia plummets all the way down to 9th after getting strafed by Tennessee (who would have predicted that after 52-41?).
As always, last week's ballot is in parentheses, and we'll post the official results when they're up.
1. Florida (1)
2. Alabama (2)
3. LSU (3)
4. South Carolina (6)
5. Arkansas (8)
6. Auburn (4)
7. Ole Miss (7)
8. Tennessee (9)
9. Georgia (5)
10. Kentucky (11)
11. Mississippi State (10)
12. Vanderbilt (12)

I like it!
I think a case could be made for Alabama at number one. They beat a good Virginia Tech team, and Florida hasn’t really played anyone in their non-conference schedule. And it doesn’t look like they’ll play anyone when they play Florida State. But Florida did get a victory at Tiger Stadium at night. That counts for something, but maybe not as much as in years past as this LSU team looks to be offensively challenged.
for what it's worth, I agree
we possibly should have put Bama at #1 a couple of weeks ago, but I know Urban Meyer and Tim Tebow are daily readers of this blog and I don’t want to provide bulletin board fodder by downgrading them at this point…
urban meyer and tim tebow are thinking of new scriptures they can put on tebow's face
3:16 under eyes for next game.
