Philosophical Questions: Ole Miss Edition

Do the Ole Miss players love the helmet enough to beat the Hogs this weekend? Or will they let go of the rope?

Bonus questions: Will any wood be brought to the game? And if so, who will be bringing it?

Please discuss.

If you saw the

pregame speech before the Alabama game, then you know they didn’t look like they were really all into the sermon Reverend Nutt was delivering. I don’t think anyone was saved that day. Will he have them up for the Hogs? Well, more likely he would if they had not already lost two conference games and are out of the running for Atlanta. I think that is going to be a factor. The wood shipment, I hope, is clearly going to be from West to East this year!

Okay John.

I think Ole Miss is done drinking the Nutt cool-aid. As mentally challenged as they are, they know a rip off when they see one. It really is just a matter of time before the university will begin a search for a new head coach.

Also, James Woods won’t be a referee in the game this Saturday, but we all wish he would be.

This season won’t cost Nutt his job. We all know Ole Hooty enough to know that even if Rebs don’t win another game this season, Nutt will somehow manage to do just enough next season to save his job. Plus, Orgeron set the bar awfully low down in Oxford. I suspect he’ll be in Oxford for at least as long as he was at Arkansas. I also suspect that the Ole Miss fan base will begin to look suspiciously like the Arkansas fan base toward the end of Nutt’s career in Fayetteville. That means FOI requests, planes flying banners, ect. As much as they’ve gulped to kool-aid so far, they want what everyone else wants: to be consistently relevant. Over the past 15 years, Nutt has shown that he just can’t do that.

I think...

Michael Smith will bring the wood, however, we might just bring the whole Ozark National Forest if Mallett can find his accuracy and Greg Childs uses some “stickem”. I can’t wait. I live in Virginia beach and FINALLY, I can watch a game that’s on the Jefferson Pilot…err RAYCOM…err, SEC Network! Yeah Yeah, thats the ticket!

A new season

After the Hogs win this Saturday you know that Nutt will simply say that they’re going to “start a brand new season” and try to forget about the first half of the season. That was probably the saying I hated the most, because on both of our losing seasons he kept saying it, especially after he made some big shake ups in the staters (i.e. Casey Dick replacing RoJo)
