Poll: What Effect Will LSU's Loss Have on Saturday's Game?

Bad for Us
Aside from not wanting HDN to have any more success, I really wanted an LSU win to help our chances of winning this week. I still think that LSU is very susceptible and the Hogs are surging.
RazorWOP = An Arkansan of Italian descent
The problem is;
even when Arkansas beats a “Top 10” team, they get no credit for it. Now, aside from LSU’s need to get back to the top being held over the Hog’s heads, they will have the problem of even less credability if they do win.
You get no credit for it?
Think about us in Oxford? We bullied LSU for 58 minutes, suffered through bad officiating, beat them anyway, and we get no respect? Have you seen one interview with Nutt? No. You haven’t because the media wants to put the blame on LSU either way. I feel your pain, Joesickness

But you are ranked.
If you compare Arkansas vs. OM, the only major difference is the embarrassing Hog loss in Oxford; otherwise, they’re pretty comparable: similar losses to ‘Bama, Ark.’s out-of-conference has an edge, OM has better SEC wins, which is balanced somewhat by the fact that Arkansas convincingly beat 2 teams that beat OM. Yet, you’re ranked, and UA isn’t even getting votes. When Arkansas beats LSU next week, on the road, we still probably won’t receive any votes; all it will do is knock LSU out of the rankings. Where exactly are you getting “no respect”?
They've lost some confidence in their coach,
but they’ll still be up for the Hogs, bank on it.
They want that boot!

That boot
is only worth it’s weight in scrap metal to us. The game is, as always, important. I guess our athletic department figures to throw y’all off with our dazzling new uni’s.
I don’t know how we’re going to react to this. Last time I saw Miles under this much stress was two years ago, after we had lost to y’all, and all the (false) reports about Miles going to Michigan came out over the airwaves right before the SECCG. This, of course, is a much different kind of stress, so I don’t know. Sometimes this kind of thing galvanizes a team behind it’s coach (kind of like Nutt right before his departure to Oxford).
If you give me the game
you can keep the trophy. Even if it’s made of solid gold. OK, maybe then I’d take the trophy.
