Matt Hall?

Hello Arkansas fans.

There's a rumor going around that Matt Hall wants to transfer to Ole Miss. I come today in peace simply to find out whether he has played at all and if so, how he has performed. I haven't noticed a 6'9" or 6'10" RT while watching Arkansas play this season, but I have only watched you play a few times.

Thanks in advance for the responses to my question.

Not that I know of.

Quite frankly, I’ve never heard of him, but that’s not exactly saying much. A search of “matt hall arkansas football” brings up articles related to his recruitment in 2008, but nothing more current. An article from the Ole Miss Scout affiliate, OMSpirit (http://mississippi.scout.com/2/721627.html), seems to indicate that he has a mom that’s been taking notes from Beck Campbell (Mitch Mustain’s mother). He’s already been red-shirted, as well. Sorry I can’t be more help.

He hasn't played much at all.

According some boards, he has the tools but not the necessary effort. The coaches are recruiting many tackles, which doesn’t bode well for him.

I've heard it from two different people

but at this point, I don’t know if there’s anything to it.

I know his little brother was on a visit to Ole Miss this past weekend.

Matt Hall is a huge dude

I haven’t seen him on the field at UA. I’ve heard the effort stuff too. However, I seriously doubt he’ll be allowed to transfer inside the SEC much less to Ole Miss. I don’t doubt that he wants to transfer. But he’s gonna have to go outside of the conference for Petrino to release him.
