Wondering how South Carolina fans are holding up after losing what had been described as a make-or-break game by both sides? As detailed at Garnet & Black Attack, with introspection and soul-searching, of course.

As a Hog fan, I know all too well what it's like to feel that way after a tough loss. Here's wishing the Cocks well against Florida this weekend.

And if the Hogs had lost...

…it would be us in the depths of despair. The highs are incredible but the lows cause nausea and chills. It’s still safer than recreational drugs, right?

I agree with Gamecock Man....

South Carolina is the Arkansas of the East. I hope they put a wuppin on the Gators, without T-Bow, they are nuthin!

Is Spurrier the best they've had in 50 years

As cocknfire professes in the “good enough” entry? Maybe. I’m not a huge USC follower – but If I was putting together a program – especially one known for historical mediocrity – I’d rather have Lou Holtz running my squad than The Ole’ Ball Coach. If you can buy the nations top passing talent (okay, cheap shot with no proof) then I might want Big Mouth Steve in there calling the shots.

Incidentally, after checking with Wikipedia, Joe Morrison has the best record there in the last 50 (albeit in a lesser conference).

I should have prefaced this with..

I really can’t stand Spurrier…. can’t remember the exact comment but he took some cheap shots at Fayetteville when he was at Florida and I enjoy seeing him get driven into the mud.

It’s not business. It’s personal.

After an extensive search of 30 minutes....

I can find not one shred of evidence that Spurrier ever made a derogatory comment about anything Arkansas, so I’ll have to retract my previous statement.

I still don’t like him though.
