Footage from Happier Times

Below is some great footage from Arkansas' 100-76 stomping of Texas in the 1989 SWC Tournament championship game. The victory marked the first of three straight conference tournament championships for the Hogs, and that '89 squad - featuring Todd Day, Lee Mayberry and Oliver Miller as freshmen - was the first team of the Nolan era that had both the talent and the depth to execute the vaunted "40 Minutes of Hell" style of play. Good times. Given the state of the basketball program for much of this past decade, this seems like more than 20 years ago.
