Happy, Crazy, Razorback Football Trivia Funtime Game - Part Two (Ni)
Sticking with the red letter date theme from last week, today's trivia question involves September 27th, 1969. Tell me the significance of that date in Razorback football history (beyond the score of the game), then put on your sumo suit and do a hundred yard dash from endzone to endzone while eating a plate of BBQ ribs without spilling any on the new turf. Prize? Again, inner satisfaction. Notice in the title that I took out the word "random," for I plan to make this a weekly question until the start of football season.

Astroturf
The interesting thing about this development is that it was widely accepted that this was done in order to insure that the Big Shootout would not be played on a sloppy field.
That is it!
It was the first time the Hogs played on astroturf at Razorback stadium. Congratulations, T-Towner. And thanks for the extra explanation. The Hogs beat Tulsa that day 55-0. It sure would be nice if we start off the new turf with a big win over Georgia!
