Happy Crazy Razorback Football Trivia Funtime Game - Part Three (Mittsu)

Yes, it is time for another episode of the funtime game where we test your knowledge of Razorback football trivia. With some trepidation, we approach the topic of Arkansas and bowl games. WARNING: Entering painful memory zone! The question is this. Name the farthest North, South, East, and West that Arkansas has travelled to for a bowl game. Next, put on your sumo suit and just sit through the memory of any bowl loss without shedding a tear. Sadly, you have 22 to choose from. (For bonus inner satisfaction, can you name which bowl game Arkansas has played the most without winning one yet? Hint: Petrino and Company could change that this year.) Next week, I promise to include a happier topic.

A lot of wild guessing here.

KevinHog,

To answer your question without any kind of research, I’m going to say the Fiesta Bowl in Tempe, AZ.
As far as what bowl we’ve played in the most without a win, I’ll try the Sugar Bowl.

Charlotte?

Is there a bowl game there?

Welcome to some inner satisfaction, T-Towner

T-towner, you know your Hog Bowl geography! Those are all correct. The Orange Bowl, the Music City Bowl, and the Holiday Bowl. The Hogs sit at .500 in that combination. As for the Sugar Bowl being the bowl that the Hogs have played the most and haven’t won, well, Frank Broyles isn’t going to be happy with you. The Hogs won the Sugar Bowl in 1969 with a 16-2 win over Georgia. The bowl I am looking for we’ve played three times and struck out everytime. (Sue E. Pig might be thinking about the Carquest Bowl where we played North Carolina, but it was in Miami.)

I don't remember us having won the Liberty Bowl

So I’ll guess Liberty Bowl because I’m too lazy to turn around and dig out my media guide that’s right behind me and thumb thru it.

That's it, Eddie!

It is the Liberty Bowl that keeps stumping us in the post-season. I would like to see that changed this year. Of course, I would be happy too with a higher profile bowl. But winning the Liberty finally would be a nice start to the Petrino Bowl Era. He did win the Liberty while at Louisville, so we have history on our side at least in that respect.

Yep...

I thought Carquest was in Charlotte. Good job T-Towner.

With Apologies To Randy Edsall, The Big East Remains Mostly Harmless

FILE -- This is an Oct. 18, 2008 file photo showing Connecticut corner back Jasper Howard (6) trying to get the crowd into the game during the fourth quarter of an NCAA college football game against Rutgers, in Piscataway, N.J. Jasper Howard had his little sisters' names tatooed on his chest. His friends say it was a constant reminder of why he was at U Conn _ to provide his family with a better life than the one he had in Miami's Little Haiti. (AP Photo/Mel Evans, File) link
