Lou Because

He combines a very good football IQ with good skills at motivation. That he picked Notre Dame to be in the national championship game this year, well, I managed to overlook that in my vote. Nutt would be attractive if the Hogs were a big underdog in the game. IF anybody votes Reggie Herring, he or she has A LOT of explaining to do! haha.

So you weren't impressed by Reggie's ...

coaching performance in the 2008 Cotton Bowl? That’s strange.

No, I wasn't!

To give Reggie some due, I think he even apologized for that Cotton Bowl. I see where somebody doesn’t value his or her life very much. Has Reggie has a vote on the board.

No votes for Ford...

as yet. He was the first man not named Spurrier or Stallings to roam the sideline of an SEC Championship Game. A little surprising, I guess.

I voted Petrino, FWIW.

I'm assuming that Arkansas is the underdog

That’s why I voted Nutt. Otherwise, it’s clearly Frank Broyles.

36-0

Lou vs. Bobby

The game has changed a lot since Lou beat OK in the orange bowl. Lou was a great coach and a good stratigist. I put my money today on Bobby. Back then maybe Lou.

The last couple of years it appears Lou is suffering dementia. I remember watching Sports Center last year mid season with The Irish having won, one game. He was still preaching they were the best team in the NCAA. Back in his prime though, He was one hell-of-a ball coach.
