Well, we're still in it, I guess

It felt like things were about to get completely out of control about midway through the second quarter. Defense doing OK, although Bama sure helped us out with some dropped passes early.

We’ve dropped our fair share of passes, too.

All in all, I feel like we have a chance.

Can’t ask for a better start to the 3rd quarter. The D got a “huge” 3 and out then the offense followed suit with two big plays culminating in a TD. Plus our special teams, especially kickoffs, has been effective. Go Hogs!!

I can’t believe I got up so damned early for this – 5:30 am local time. The Arkansas defense owes me three hours of sleep. Next week? Circle J with A&M at JerryDome.

Reality Check???

Ok…. our offense isn’t as great and the defense isn’t as bad as everyone thought. Crimm had good coverage on the TD pass and the D was put in a tight spot with the blocked “rugby” punt. I think we can win-out with the exception of FLA and go into the LSU game 8-3. In sum, the Hogs have the potential to significantly improve from week to week, and I think we will. It sucks to lose, but these Hogs are getting better and there is alot of football left to play. This is still going to be an exciting season!!! Go Hogs
