Recruiting News
Expect an actual competition for kicker in spring practice this year. We have two one highly regarded commit in this class. Eduardo Camara, who has been committed since last July, is ranked the 15th best in the country. As of today, William Russ, ranked the 13th best in the country, has committed to the Hogs EDIT: William Russ decommitted and signed with Texas. If nothing else, maybe knowing his job isn't safe will make Tejada a little more accurate. May our kicker troubles be over.

I hope you're right!
We should all knock on wood, though.

This is what I see happening.
E. Camara will compete with A. Tejada for the FG kicking duties.
W. Russ will handle the KO and punting duties with that booming leg of his.

Let's not forget about Zach Hocker
out of Russellville High. The kid has a big foot on kickoffs and my family saw him actually split the uprights on a kickoff! It was after a penalty tacked on yardage which put him a little closer than a regular kickoff, but that’s not something you see very often!
Don’t count him out of the competition if he follows through on his oral committment today.
