Happy National Signing Day, Everyone

Despite our massive staff of (unpaid) interns, not to mention palatial offices on the East & West coasts, your friends at ArkansasExpats.com have never been that great at following the up and downs of the recruiting game (note to self: fire the interns). But, since today is a big one for the future of the football team, we're glad to provide you a few links that should be helpful.

The next few hours should be busy, so here are some useful resources:

* Richard Davenport's official Signing Day dashboard

* the Recruiting Guy blog

* open thread on RazorBloggers.net (including Twitter updates and other links)

As always, leave your thoughts and observations in the comments section.

My family was sitting in the stands when...

Zach Hocker, the kicker for Russellville High School, Russellville, AR was kicking off to Cabot High. If we wouldn’t have seen it, I wouldn’t believe it, but he split the uprights on the opposite end! I believe it was after a penalty against Cabot that was enforced on the kickoff, but add up the yardage for yourself and it’s still something the Razorbacks are missing…a solid foot!

I know he orally committed to the Hogs yesterday, but here’s hoping he signs the line today to make it official.

GO HOGS!

Looks like the class is pretty much done.

We picked up the DT out of Junction City that we wanted, and snaked a 4-star DT from Okie St. first thing this morning. Picked up two legit kickers, pulled in one of the best defensive classes in the country, and seemed to have plugged our most glaring holes. This class isn’t “flashy”, but it’s solid, and there’s no reason to think the sky is falling. I already can’t wait until August…
