By the Numbers: Mallett's Home Cooking vs Road Troubles

PrintWe're not exactly numbers experts here at Arkansas Experts, Inc, but we do know this: Ryan Mallett was a lot more awesome at home than on the road last year. His completion rate in the Natural State was an impressive 65%, but beyond the borders it was a woeful 39%. Ouch.
To bring all this to life, Expats reader SmooveP (who happens to earn his living as a graphic designer when he's not commenting on this site) was kind enough to create the snazzy infographic shown below. Many thanks to Smoove for sharing his talents...he also backed up his design work with an excellent post detailing what all this means for the 2010 season that you should definitely read.

I thing Ole Miss, Alabama, LSU, and Florida having great defenses
had more to do with it than the game being played on the road.
Maybe SmooveP
can get hired on as the Hogs’ official graphic designer? That’s really cool! The road is tough in the SEC no matter who you are, but hopefully Mallett with a year’s experience will improve on his road woes. I am betting that he does.

Nice graphic. It had a Christmas feel to the color scheme. I’m hoping for a nice Christmas present from the 2010 Hog Football team…….A BCS Bowl.
The coolest thing about that graphic is that Mallett is like Rocky!!!!!!!!!!
He’s switching to left hand this year! (Well, Rock actually switched from lefty to right handed but still…..)
