After Bobby Johnson left Vanderbilt for a life of retirement where he can enjoy an autumn without the agony of defeat, I polled the fanbase here about our game with Vanderbilt this season. No concern was reported. Vanderbilt is still suppose to be Vanderbilt this season, no matter the coach. Sounds reasonable enough. With the addition of Jeremiah Masoli to the Ole Miss roster, I am now curious to see if this has done anything to change your feelings about our chances of finally beating Colonel Nutt. I think most people, myself included, had the Ole Miss game down as a "win" given the departure in talent from Oxford. Does this West coast talent infusion (has twenty games as a starter under his belt) change your outlook any?
Poll
What is your level of concern about the outcome of the Ole Miss game now that Colonel Nutt has added Jeremiah Masoli to his quarterback roster?
Masoli, a poor arm, and lacks the supporting cast of departed Orgeron recruits. Not that concerned. (38 votes)
Masoli is a good player, but what Nutt does to quarterbacks will most likely cancel out the Masoli talent. Some concern, however. (126 votes)
Right now, not knowing what our last in the league defense is going to look like, significant concern. (48 votes)
Already getting cold sweats and having flashbacks of Dexter McCluster running all over us. A very high level of concern! (22 votes)
