Knile Davis, If You Are Reading, Here Is What We Collectively Think

Word has gotten out of Fayetteville that Knile Davis is back at practice, and there is some speculation that he might return before the season ends. Though more recently, Bobby Petrino has been quoted as saying that Davis is not ready yet to come back. I wonder if that might change if the Hogs were to find themselves in Atlanta or even in New Orleans on January the 9th? If Davis has been listening to talk radio, he has heard that he shouldn't risk it, that he should come back because he'll be gone after next year anyway, that we need all the firepower we can get going against LSU's defense, and that no he should stay on the sidelines because Dennis Johnson is doing a good job and we don't want to mess up his rhythm. Some good arguments on both sides, I think, though I confess that I only believe he should come back if the Hogs are in the national title game, for that is a once in a lifetime, most likely, opportunity. What do you think? Let us know in the poll below.

Down the stretch we go...

Each and every Razorback player who loves the game of football as much as we do will step on the field in Little Rock this Saturday. Each and every player that takes the field and plays in this game on Saturday has seen enough film. You have practiced enough. You have seen the twists, the techniques, the misdirection, and the methods opposing teams try to beat you with. I can’t do it and coach can’t do it. It comes down to you and what is inside you collectively. It comes down to the totality of this team in every phase of this game. We are or we are not united as a team in our cause right here and right now. Victory comes at a cost as we have seen with our players on the sideline chopping at the bit wishing they could play. We (you) have to be the best we (you) can be. Many of our warriors are now back, healthy and ready to step onto the field for four quarters. You slide on the socks, jock straps, gloves, pads, jerseys, cleats and helmets. Your craft has been honed. You are unyielding in the finality of what has to be. The coming together on Saturday is a prelude of what you have to give as a team and the beginning of the end you seek. Nothing else matters. Champions make the big plays not only at returning a kick. Champions not only catch a ball and then devour a defense with a run after the catch. Champions can run. Then we find there is more than that on this team. We got the lines on offense and defense now to take them all down if we decide that enough is enough. We got the special teams that determines where the field of play begins and ends. The, our, your champions will step foot on War Memorial Stadium this Saturday.

We few, we lucky few.

I think it was Kevin or Stephen who quoted a very likable and well known verse earlier in the season. I could agree more!

Staying classy in Colorado.

Hey Knile

I want you back full strength and ready to set some records. Is the offensive line ready to do some serious blocking for ya? Before I put my ankle to the test in a serious game I would be asking myself and my teammates that question. You want we to tear this LSU team up then where is my line at?

Knile should do what is best for Knile

If he is ready, if he is cleared, and if he is 100% he should be able to play when he can.

I see Knile playing in the NFL after next season anyway. If he is ready, cleared, able and wants to, I see it as we would be getting an extra couple games from this great talent.

Ready For War (Songs before the Game)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kp8yGQSVoPs

It does sound good on a nice stereo loud. This song without words and instrumental is the best version. I don’t listen to a lot of his music but hey….

Got one to share. The one you would play before the game, during, when we score, …
