Johnson and Bequette: SEC Players of the Week
Dennis Johnson is named SEC Special Teams Player of the Week, no doubt for his 98-yard kickoff return against the Gamecocks. If anyone is still doubting whether DJ should be the de facto starting running back, you should know that Johnson is second in the league with 150.5 all-purpose rushing yards per game. Jake Bequette was named SEC (Co-)Defenseive Lineman for the week, in part because of his absolutely murderous sack of USC QB Connor Shaw. I'm not going to lie... I may have replayed that hit a few times just for the sheer brutality. Arkansas players have now been named SEC Players of the Week 10 times this season so far.
