PrintIt's the UALR Trojans, who just completed a wild, last-second 64-63 win over the North Texas Mean Green to claim the Sun Belt Tournament championship and secure an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
A hearty congrats to the Trojans, who will be making their first appearance in the tournament since 1990. This spring also will mark the 25th anniversary of the program's shocking first-round upset of Notre Dame. I can think of an awesome way for this year's squad to commemorate that great win.

Heck of a game
As a 2 year drop-out from UALR, I guess I can legitimately claim to be a fan. That was one of the most exciting games I’ve seen in a while. I was really impressed with how both team hit free throws with ease. Congrats Trojans!

When UALR makes the big dance and the Hogs stay home, it just makes it more obvious that it is time for a change in F’ville.
Saw it on ESPN - By Accident!
Happy accident, I say. I got my undergraduate degree from UALR, but never went to any UALR sporting event. So I can’t say I’ve been dreaming of this day since 1990. But I am very pleased to see the Trojans win a game in that fashion and punch their ticket to March Madness. I say the pressure on Pel has gotten even heavier. UALR in. But not the Hogs?

instant classic! the announcers said biggest shot in ualr history this decade. i say biggest shot in ARKANSAS this decade! the hogs should be down right embarrassed. frank broyles is long … it is time to end his moratorium on razorback’s in state competition. the hogs dont deserve the rusty eroding pedestal they are using to shamefully represent our state. GO TROJANS

Saw the game and you guys had plenty of chances to give it up at the end but you found a way to get the job done. Congrats to Both Teams!

has to be cool to have the Men and Women’s teams win their tourneys on the same floor in the same building within hours of each other.
