A Solid Bowl Win at Last: Arkansas 29, Kansas State 16

The defense was wobbly at times in the second half and the offense had a hard time punching the ball into the end zone, but let's not get too picky. The Razorbacks showed admirable composure against a Top Ten opponent. That was a solid, solid bowl victory, one that gave the Hogs their first 11-win season since 1977. Yes, tonight is a good night to be a Razorback fan.

The only down note is that tonight marked the last appearances of Joe Adams, Jarius Wright, Jake Bequette, Greg Childs and the rest of a wonderful senior class in Razorback uniforms. Thanks for all the great work, guys. You've left the program in fantastic shape.

The hour is growing late, and we'll have more to say later this weekend, when our thoughts are a little more coherent. In the meantime, give us your take on tonight's win.

And - oh yeah - Woo Pig Sooie!

A Great Season

A deserved finish for our favorite team. Maybe the defense’s best game of the year, certainly a great introduction to Paul Haynes. Congratulations to a fantastic senior class. Things are looking up for Hogs everywhere. I like it. Thanks to Arkansas Expats for their hard work.

Good win Hogs! way to represent.

Reporter: What would you say a Greg Studrawa offense is like? Stud:

GOOD win, nice showing on a national stage, but WHEN will the national sports media realize that if ya keep trying to put us down and not respecting us we will TAKE our respect from your broken bleeding bodies when we embarrass you on the national stage……anyway 11 wins, a great end to the season, and (hopefully) a top 5 finish , I LOVE IT!!

Hell yeah!

Let me first say that I am an LSU fan. But this was awsome.

but WHEN will the national sports media realize that if ya keep trying to put us down and not respecting us we will TAKE our respect from your broken bleeding bodies when we embarrass you on the national stage

I am thinking that it will be between Arkansas and Bama for the 4th and 5th spots. But losing THAT many playmakers on offense could hurt ya’ll standings. Anyway… Hell of a season. Ya’ll should be proud.

Great game.

I stayed up way to late watching it, but it was worth every minute of lost sleep.

Loving it

Where’s that Kansas State fan that said Klein was better than RG3???

I’m looking forward to watching the defense grow under Coach Haynes, I thought he did a great job calling the defense last night.

WOO PIG!!!
