US PRESSWIRE

Goodbye Knile, 2012 Bummer, Award for Cobi and Trouble in Lexington.

Knile Davis is officially leaving Arkansas to enter the NFL. We wish Knile the best, and will always remember his brilliant, and underrated, close to the 2010 season when he provided Arkansas with a rushing game to complement Ryan Mallett's amazing air attack. We all remember stories of his hard work to rehab his ankle during the 2011 season, and while 2012 wasn't what any of us hoped for, we'll always hope everything works out in the future. Here's the write-up from SBNation. We'll be watching and cheering for you, Knile.

There were a number of things that went wrong for the Hogs in 2012. The defense looked confused most of the season. Alonzo Highsmith and Chris Gragg missed most of the season, and there were many more injuries to key players that did not help the situation. John L. Smith, to say the least, was in over his head. Daniel Lewis of CBS Sports has more on what went wrong in 2012.

Is Kentucky in trouble? Their basketball team has not had the start that most people had imagined. They lost to Duke (not that big of a deal), then to Notre Dame (opens your eyes a little bit), then to Baylor at home (That's a "what the heck moment"). The Wildcats have a young team and will most likely climb out of the hole that they are in. They will make it to the tournament and they should only get better as the year goes on (they hope). Glenn Logan, from ASeaOfBlue.com, has more on the rough start and what it means for the Wildcats.

Congrats to Cobi Hamilton. He has been named an All-American by the AP. Hamilton was one of the few bright spots for the Hogs, this past season. Cobi broke the school record for catches is a season with 90, which ranks him 3rd all time in the SEC. Hamilton is the 3rd consecutive All-American for the Hogs. Joe Adams and D.J. Williams were both named to the list in the previous two years. Cobi you were fun to watch and will be missed dearly. Here is the release from the U of A for Cobi's award.
