Arkansas posts a perfect 3-0 record as a 2-seed en route to winning the Houston Regional. The Hogs beat Sam Houston State 5-4 in the opener of the double-elimination event, and then dropped host-school Rice 1-0 in the winner's bracket. SHS eliminated Rice in the loser's bracket to earn the right to face the Hogs in the regional finals; the Hogs beat SHS for the 2nd time in 3 days to move on to the Supers. The Razorbacks will face the winner of the Waco Regional - either Baylor or Dallas Baptist. If Baylor wins, the Hogs will be off to Waco for the Supers; if DB wins, there's an excellent chance that the Hogs will be hosting the Super Regional in Fayetteville.
