Man, it would be so much more interesting if the hogs were still recruiting football players or had a basketball game tomorrow night, but instead it's 2 whole days away. Though we do have a midweek baseball series starting today.

I thought why not do a little research and share some facts about this day in history... February 19th.

It's a good thing we're not playing basketball today. In the last four basketball games played on February 19th, the hogs are 2-4. With the 4 losses coming to Alabama 2011 (Tony Mitchell - 27 pts, 9 rebs, 3 asts, 2 stls, 2 blks), Vanderbilt 2005, Kentucky, 2003, and LSU in 2000 and with none of the losses being closer than 11 points.

In 2010 on February 19th, Scotty Thurman was inducted into the Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame
