Linebackers coach Randy Shannon dipped into his old coaching grounds into the “state” of Miami and scooped up De’Andre Coley. The safety played at Miami Northerwestern, a power house in the high school football world, you may have heard of them, they’ve played on ESPN at least once for the past 5 years.

Coley signs as a part of a large group of defensive backs. We all know the Hogs need secondary help and depth, both have been addressed this recruiting season. Coley will be one of many DBs competing for playing time come August. Coley’s signing shows the new Razorback staff’s presence in Florida, south Florida in particular. With players like Coley and Allex Collins bringing their talents to the hill, their success will attract more Floridians in the future.
