Name: Denzell Evans
Position: Running Back
Height: 6-0
Weight: 205
Hometown/High School: Bellaire, Texas; Bellaire High School
Evans was committed to Houston for a long time before being offered by the Razorbacks, and Evans committed to Arkansas while on his official visit last weekend. He'll join a stable of running backs with Jonathan Williams, new commitment Alex Collins, and possibly Korliss Marshall-if Marshall ends up playing running back.
According MaxPreps, Evans averaged 6.13 yards per carry as a senior and 7.8 yards per carry as a junior. He's considered a three star recruit. He was also offered by Arizona State, Michigan State, Kansas State, Colorado, and others.
Here is a very long video of Evans' senior year highlights:
Congratulations to Denzell. We look forward to seeing him playing on Saturdays in Razorback Stadium.
Keep logging into Arkansas Expats for more signing day coverage throughout the day.
