The basketball season has officially ended with no post-season birth. Who's to blame and why next year is a "must-win" for Coach Mike Anderson.

After losing in the first round of the SEC Tournament to Vanderbilt, the Hogs hoped to still get a bid to the N.I.T. Too bad hog fans. Now the year is finished and all we can do is hope next year is a little better. We're trying to stay optimistic, but we all know how that goes when you're an Arkansas fan.

On this week's fancast, Allen, Coach, and Adam discuss the N.I.T. 'snub' and all of the ramifications from a season which saw little progress.

Here are some of the things we discuss on this week's podcast:

  • Loss to Vanderbilt
  • N.I.T. even says no
  • B.J. Young and Marshawn Powell: will we miss them?
  • "Plug in the holes"
  • Stupid legislation for a stupid Arkansas State vs. University of Arkansas game
  • Two recruiting highlights: Austin Allen and Martrell Spaight
  • Spring practice and the fight for the Quarterback Position
  • Bye bye Austin Flynn
  • Baseball (yay)

Recorded Monday night, March 18, 2013.

Plus, tweets of the week and a whole lot more. This is the Hog Trough Fancast.
