Houston Nutt
BOOS and BOOS From Creative Ole Miss Fans
I found this picture over on the Blog Hawgs's page, and I couldn't resist sharing it with you. I laughed out loud. These two little girls and their parents are more creative in their Nutt disgust than all the newspaper ads, FOI requests, and flying banners put together. I don't know where these two zombies did their trick or treating, but I bet they more than likely got plenty of candy last night.
Houston Nutt Caption Contest!
Sometimes, in the course of browsing around the series of tubes we call the Internet, one will come across a special picture. Not just any special picture, either...one that stops you dead in your tracks and brings a smile to your face or a tear to your eye. One that's truly worth 1,000 words.
The image below is such a picture. And, because the simple minds here at Arkansas Expats, Inc are paralyzed by all the possibilities, we're turning the reins over to you...what should the caption be? Leave your best suggestion(s) in the comments section and our team of highly qualified judges will do a thorough review and pronounce a winner. Said winner will then be granted access to write a front-page Expats blog post about whatever you'd like, or if you're really lazy (and nice) maybe you can just request that we write something on your chosen topic.
At any rate, the floor is all your. Make the most of it!
Hat tip to Dr. Saturday for the picture. And for the record, unlike a lot of Hog fans we honestly don't have any ill will towards Houston Nutt. But, funny is funny so here we are.
Because It Never Gets Old
Saturday's opponent gives us a good excuse (not that we need any) to repost what we consider to be one of the great moments in the history of photography. Sit back, relax and admire (and for the back story, click here):
Ah, That Houston Dale
For the Razorback blogosphere, Houston Dale Nutt is truly the gift that keeps on giving, even after he's taken up residence in Oxford, Miss. The hilarious Tre Baker of ArkansasSports360.com is asking his readers to supply captions for the photo below, which surely has to rank among the great moments in the history of photojournalism. The pic shows Nutt and the members of the the Ole Miss Ladies Football Forum about to take the field last Saturday for some sort of pep rally. According to Mr. Baker, the funniest captions may end up featured in an upcoming print edition of ArkansasSports360.com. Even if you don't enter the contest, you need to check out the entries. Funny stuff.
From the "Wish We'd Written It" File
Head on over to the excellent ArkansasSports360.com and check out Tre Baker's hilarious post about Houston Nutt's NW Arkansas house hitting the market. Looks like a cute little starter home.
