Alvin Manvel (TX) wide receiver Austin Bennett was already considering decommitting from Arkansas on Monday. So when Petrino was fired on Tuesday evening, Bennett made the decision to reopen his recruitment within hours.
The other pledge in the 2013 class, Katy Cinco Ranch running back Jamel James, who has been committed since July of 2011, has been making noises about wanting to play defense and may be in danger of opening his recruitment up, too.
