Kansas State junior shortstop Carter Jurica was named to the 2010 NCAA Fayetteville All-Regional team after play this past weekend.
In three games at Baum Stadium, Jurica went 6 for 14 with a double, two home runs, four RBI and four run scored.

Kansas State scored nine runs in the first five innings, then held off a Grambling comeback in the late innings of the game as the Wildcat defeated the Tigers 9-8 on Saturday to remain alive in the 2010 NCAA Fayetteville Regional at Baum Stadium.
Kansas State (37-21), the No. 3 seed in the regional, now will play No. 2 seed Washington State once more.
Grambling (22-32) was eliminated from the tournament.
